I've got a "new to me" JDM block that John's going to work with. He already has the head. I'm also working on the turbo kit. Fun stuff.

I'm hitting up Konig for a sponsorship, keep your fingers crossed on this.

I also need anyone who has ties with a body kit company to get in touch with me, I have proposals written out, I just need places/people to send them to.

And I'm also going to try to see if I can get Rockford Fosgate to cut me some deals in reworking my system. I've got two Power 1100a2's, I know I have one that I need to have serviced. I'm also wanting to ditch my DVC 12's and upgrade to Power 12's.

All in all, if I can get together a few hundred $$$ I'll buy Corey's roll cage... if not, then I guess I'm doing 180 without it.

Things are coming along. I'll be towing the car back to my place to do the paint and body in the next week or so, I already have my plans laid out for this. You guys will be impressed.

hrmmm.. unless you plan on wearing a helmet and harness during this thing then i dont think the rollcage is a good idea.

OT, but I just finished watching the Mischief 3000 video, and that **** was ill. That F50 was straight nasty. I can't imagine what a cop does when he clocks and stops you after you were going 187 mph. Anyone know which car it was towards the end that was going 208 mph? It wasn't the F50, but we're pretty sure it was a Ferrari, a blue one.

So (KMS Luder), do you have any plans/strategies set yet on how you're gonna handle the inevitable speeding tickets, possible arrests, bail money, radar detection, etc, etc?

I've had sponsors before... that's why I had stickers on my car... I like sponsors though. They give you free stuff, and all you have to do is run a sticker and talk good about their company? I can do that.

I'll be running race seats and a five point harness. No helmet though.

I'm trying to sell off my airbags though! Anyone know someone that wants them?

At the speeds that they will be getting to at least go for an Autopower roll bar or something! Having a blow out, or dipping a tire into dirt/road debris at the speeds Todd is going to hit is just asking for disaster w/o roll bar. In short, get one, even if it is a cheap Autopower one. If you're worried about hitting it, pad it up.

padding wont protect your head if you get in a fender bender and hit the bar. at 100+mph you are surely dead if your head comes in contact with it during a crash.

I'll have a roll cage, and a five point harness. If my head makes it that far forward that I need an airbag, I'm gonna die anyway.

besides, if I lose control, and hit something to set the airbags off, (like sliding sideways and clip something) at my speeds I probably won't stop moving, I don't want an airbag in the way if I'm still trying to steer.

oh, and I don't plan on avoiding the cops.... if I happen to be going 150, I won't slow down. If I happen to get caught, I get caught. If I go to jail, I go to jail. There are consequinces for breaking the law, everyone has to pay them if they get caught.

I also don't plan on going 180 the entire time.

As it's been pointed out many times, it isn't a "race." Even if it was, there are plenty of faster cars out there, despite what I do. 12 Cylinders just has an overall advantage.

That's why I said to get a roll bar, and not a cage. If his head flies that far backward I think the roll bar is the least of his worries.
