i have a 93 h22, i bought the vehicle when it wasnt running so im not sure if tripometer was working prior. i got it running this week but the tripometer isnt working. it is stuck at 000, and when i drive all the individual dials start to try and move....then there is a click and it is back to 000. it keeps doing the same thing, if it wasnt for the annoying clicking noise i probably could deal with the tripometer not working.

the odometer and speedometer are in good working order.

Press the button several times and see if that helps. Prolly something snagged in the reset/release mechanism.

 

yeah, tried that. nothing happened. i am affraid i am going to have to remove the cluster.

anybody else have suggestions or run into same problem?
