noob question is it bad to use atf on a manual or is it the same.cuz i got honda to change my transmission oil and when i got it back it says on the reciept that they put atf in my transmission so i called them back and they said it must have been just a typo so i dont know. and now i sometimes grind in all gears what do you guys think? thanks in advance

 

it would take a real dumbass to put atf in a manual...they drain and fill completely different. if you want to check, theres a bolt with a round head on the bottom of the trans with a 3/8 square cut in the middle, you cant miss it. slowly loosen till fluid drips...if its red, its atf
