whats up u guys. out last night n i went to do a launch n next thing u kno a nasty cling, clang grind noise comes from tha trans. so here's tha diagnosis action--> wen u go 2 put it n gear 1st or 2nd car do not move at all but wen u put it n 3rd car moves but won't exceed 20mph pullin its own weight. by that i mean u have 2 get tha car movin, put it n 3rd then like, how do u say.... massage tha engagement. only good news is, is that i somewhat still have an reverse . well let me kno what u guys think? by tha way its an H23 trans n 2nd was about done n e ways. peace.

 

sounds like you broke your clutch plate. id bet $10 on it.

 

hey whats up... went out to look at it today n its leakin tranny fluid like crazy. don't kno where from tho yet but it looks like lowest part of the tranny. i'm takin it out today so i'll keep u guys posted. by tha way r n e good rebuild performance shops round here in the chicagoland area? i heard it good to put bronze syncro's in...

whats up. wanted kno besides tha honda mtf what is another good fluid to use n a H23 trans. its gonna be used as a daily driver/ weekday, weekend track n drag car. also i kinda beat on it so i would like something that will kinda hold up so nothin like this doesn't happen again. tha trans i'm puttin n has about 75k on it n so far some people have mentioned puttin mobil 1 syn n 5w30. let me kno.....thanks
