well guys i ran this weekend at the WCF and jumped some good times. I was suprised how the car wanted to fly. I was really happy with the car and i think i can maybe get 12's hopefully this year I pray

1)13.46@103
2)13.27@103
3)13.26@94

reason for the low MPH I left off at the 1000ft cause i won the round and didn't want to hit the car and maybe cause any damage to the car.

i will post the slips later today when i get home

yea that pass I actually hit a 1.76 60ft. That was the best I have ever done. I wouldn't go as far and say I was killing it but for sure I was doing ok on some tokico blues, stock mounts and energy suspension bushings. I got one more shot at 12's for the year at atco on the 21st if the weather is ok to race

If i had a traction bar I might be getting even a better 60ft jk : . I remember some one telling me .1 on the bottom .2 up top.

well I beat my PB again..this is awesome to see my car going faster and faster. I am learning the car more and more I drive it. I am stiill trying to debate if i continue with getting low 12's in the prelude knowing that might ulimate goal is to be running all motor class someday sooner than later.. I ran 13.16@105. we looked at the tune after the race and saw we can probably knock out 12's this year. so i might give it one more try this year just to see if i can do it. here is a pick of the wcf slip and the runs at atco this weekend.

how high are you reving on a h23vtec? did you have to put oil squirters in? or do you have forge pistons?

I will see what i can do cause i am going run it this sunday to get my 12's hopefully. but its just so much money to cut weight on this puppy and if i want to be in the 11.5 index class or even maybe all motor class it will be hard.

Thats the off season decisions i need to make.

There's a lot of weight that can come out that won't cost you a thing, just time. GL

look around for some used cf parts....thats how i got lucky....even if they are in bad shape you can put them on just for the track,,,,and if you want too show and shine put the oem painted suff back on......the prelude sunroofs weight alot im sure you know that...

you may need some spray the 11.50 class

well i know like gold say cf hood and trunk i know thats at least 100lbs lost there and sundroof plug probably 30 right there. there the sound deading material underneath and a/c that i still have is probably like 30 more pounds. can you educate me on some other things i know wiring for the for electrical stuff like power windows and all that kind of stuff all the speaker equipment, any other spots?

i have looked and everyone wants almost 400 for each one. for 375 each i can get a new ones for a civic. Just in general i can parts just alot cheaper for a civic from other racers while i get my car faster.

Thats also the problem I want to do 11.5 all motor not spraying and we all know that will be hard to do. I have the desire to do it and get the car as light as possible but it still willn't be light enough to get me to the unlimate goal of being able to run with the all motor class.

What i would like to do is put another motor in it and sell the car like 1000bucks if i can, so i can get a decent shell to invest that money into. I will say this if i was going turbo I would completely stay with my prelude and go from there but i dont know i have to see what happens over the winter and make my choices

Right now my goal is 12.999999 thats it anything lower the better for me this sunday. I know if I am able to drop lets say 200 lbs off the car is an easy 12's there. But realistically how many of us can say we have an actual 12sec prelude that is complete with everything in it except P/S( no traction bar no special mounts nothing and I am hitting this mark) IDK wat to do.

well im not on here that often thats why i figured txting would be easier lol. but anyways. what ecu are you running? how did you wire it up? check engine light on? vtec controller? what intake mani? whats the compression at? how did it line up to the h23 block? do all the oil and coolant passages match? did you have to change anything in the oiling system? stock injectors? was the crank balancing necessary? did you sleeve the cylinders? so many questions so little time. kinda want all the details (parts, specs, and such) all in one area so i can collect my thoughts about taking on this project.
