When I step on the brakes in my 5th gen, the third brake light blinks, instead of staying on. Is there a way where I can make it stay on?

 

it probly has a relay just take it out or bypass it

 

How do I do that?

 

I took a look at the wiring and I saw a black square box that reads "Red Alert" with the wires going through it. If I cut the this off and connect the wires back together, will this solve my problem? Is that black box supposed to be there?
