Would a bad thermostat make a motor lag feels like a misfire. Only at low rpms I don't think its a head gasket no smoke and doesn't do it all the time I've already replaced coil wires plugs cap rotor fuel filter and fuel pump. If it makes a difference idk if it would cause this but bought an aluminum radiator a while back and it didnt cone with a cap and my old one didnt fit. So I opened it a little and now when you take the cap of the inside just falls out so the cap is obviously bad. But would could be causing this lag???? It's the h22a. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated thanks

and also my hose from radiator to thermo housing keeps collapsing I've replaced it already and it keeps doing it so I'm thinking it has to do something in my radiator cap and or thermostat. But could that be causing a lag??? Please any thoughts

And another thing when pulling injectors out one had a crack in it would that be my first place to look into?

Check that injector to much gas coming out of it will cause it to run rich does it smoke black when you hit vtec?

Idk if it smokes but it def runs rich

I usually don't crack vtec that often I baby her.

Well in that case it has to be the injector running rich will feel sluggish at low rpms because of the steady stream from the crack instead of a mist.

Thanks man. So there's no way of the lag due to thermostat? Cuz my car never over heats it stays consistent

nah it's def that too much fuel is getting to that one injector causing a lack of power to the one cylinder fix it up get another injector and see the difference. You wont lag cause of the thermostat but it will overheat if that was ever the problem.

cool thanks man will look into getting the new injectors soon just had to spend 200 bucks someone slashed my ladys tire the other night gotta love stupid people who are just jealous about peoples stuff.

oh and one other thing with the injector being cracked would that ever make the idle drop low and come back up and what not just a rough idle basically as well as the lag
