Todd, I recall a bunch of people on the old G5 mailing list saying they would toss codes, BUT you can put some kind of 1000000000000000000 Ohm resistor in one of the wires and it will behave itself beautifully.

Sorry - I *think* they said 10million Ohm... It's been a couple of years since I read that stuff tho... Sorry I can't be more specific...

You might try asking on PreludeOnline - I think the context in which this came up was turbocharging and CELs - I'd think someone there would be able to help you out on this.

I heard someone here say once that if you wrap the O2 sensor in aluminum foil you wont get the CEL. He says he did it and hasnt thrown any codes.

i used to run a test pipe on my hybrid accord.

using a 96 obd2 ecu.

you will trigger codes. you can however goto casper electronics i believe. you can look them up on the supra mk4 site for their link. importparts sells them now.

they fool the ecu and they're cheap.

We were having a disussion onTPC about this...Todd Marcucci was saying you can run a test pipe on an OBDII car if you do the OBDII workaround and not get a code:

it's at the bottom...

I have the od2-2 workaround, I plan on running a test pipe, later on. SO if i put a dummy 02 sensor thing will it throw codes?
