I have the basics on my 99 gsr. I like them a lot, pretty firm decent spring rates I think dampening is like 8kg all around or something like that. I didnt have much cash when I bought them and in all honestly I would love to have the adjustability of the SS. but im just glad to be rolling on something far superior to stock or the h&r sports i had previously.

 

are there any spring/shock setups to rival tein? like koni blues with ground controls?

 

Am I going to be disappointed if I go with the basic instead of the ss even if i'm only going to be doing regular street driving? My only concern is that I really don't know much about the advantages to being able to adjust the damping force. At the same time I don't want a bouncy ride. I'm leaning toward the basic...any input would be appreciated.(I stole this from po.com)

Whats to be lost if going with ground controls and kyb agx's or konis, which are around the same price.

 

I have the SS adjustable on my 4th gen.... and I luv em... but there is some squeaking noises... but I think they are from the bushings... and I got a great deal for them... only $900

 

900 bucks is a good deal?
