Default Summer 4WS Problems

Ok, now that the temp is going up here, im having more and more problems with the 4WS. The 4WS coming on at start-up about 30-50% of the time now. Seems to be when the temp is above 85 degrees.
Other than the soldering fix, are there any temporary fixes any of you have found to work? How to reset ECU by turning steering wheel? How do i know if i need four wheel alignment? Woulkd this help? Right now, when the light is on, the rear wheels seem to at least lock in place (knockin on wood).

Do it right the first time. Fix the 4WS ECU first.

I will say that I am not surprised.

I have a spare 4WS ECU if you are looking for one. I resoldered it, it worked for a few months, then had issues again.

Actually yes, it does. It there are loose connections then they expand more when it's hot outside.

conductivity is better when it's cold.

depending on the code your 4ws is sending i think there is a recall, that honda should fix for free .. but do the solder fix first - worked for me.

i hope i don't get yelled at for this post but what is the "soldering fix"? i just put a new motor in my car and the 4ws light comes on sometimes, more often since it has been getting warmer. btw: i bought the car with a blown motor.

I forgot to mention, at speed, you can def tell the difference whem the rear wheels are locked. I am positive that there is more body roll when the rear wheels arent turning. I really cant imagine buying a non 4WS prelude after this.
