anyone know how to do this.....my light came on after i reconnected everything and did not go off. for my 4th gen

 

anyone know how to reset the srs light?

 

The Helms says there is a Memory Erase Signal (MES) connector back behind the dash with the other service connectors. It has light green/black and black wires coming from the back of it. Bend a paperclip or something like that to connect both terminals on this connector and flip the ignition switch on. The SRS light should come on for 6 sec. and then turn off. Remove the paperclip within 4 seconds of the SRS light going off. Then it will come on again, and you need to connect the terminal again within 4 seconds. Then it will turn off again, and you need to remove the paperclip within 4 seconds again.

Finally the light will blink 2 times indicating the memory is erased.

Sorry, I didn't know that would be so damn complicated, I just wrote what's in the manual ...

In the end with the electrical stuff. It has a picture of a battery with 'SRS' written on it.

 

i'm still not seeing it anywhere.....

is it labeled MES?
it's 2pin right?
