SRS Light question
I removed my stearing wheel last night to fix my blinker switch. Now the SRS light is on. How do I reset this light? Or reset the SRS system?

Here you are:
Short the MES connector.
Turn the ignition to ON (II)
The SRS light will come on, then turn off.
Remove the MES short within 4 seconds of the light turning off.
The SRS light will turn on again.
Replace the MES short within 4 seconds of the light turning on.
The SRS light will turn off again.
Remove the MES short within 4 seconds of the light turning off.
The SRS light will blink twice to confirm the erase.
Turn the ignition off and wait for 10 seconds.

Here is a copy of the service manual posted in the 'prelude' forum.
It says not to use a jumper wire. So if I don't have a SCS service connector handy, what do I do?
I found this site: http://integra.vtec.net/geeser/service_connector.html
He says "I contacted A&H Motorsport and asked them if it was anything more than a simple wire connecting the two poles. Their response was no, it was just a simple wire connecting the two poles."
He just used a crimp terminal for his integra. Would there be any reason this wouldn't work for a 97 prelude?
