Default Speed Sensor Dead., Replacement?

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=493568 was my original post, i took the vss out this weekend. Turns out the 1 bolt that holds the VSS down was fine but i snapped the peice off that was connected to the VSS. IT still works if i don't drive it too hard. The VSS can not be held down any longer due to the fact that the part of metal that was used to hold it down snapped while still bolted in. SO my first question is has this ever happend to anyone else. Second does anyone know of a junk yard car i can get a VSS off of that will work in a 94 prelude vtec, i don't want to pay the 158 plus shipping at majestic honda. I was thinking of maybe and accord or civic?

ahhh....
that happened to me too. Is this a common 3g problem?

all i did to fix it was use some sonic weld (steel reinforced epoxy putty).
It still works just fine 2 years later.
