something is crooked and its no bueno
the other day i had a little accident and i managed to bend my lower control arm. so i went to honda and bought a new one through them. during the installation everything bolted up fine except for what they call the front radius arm. the problem i had was the twisted just a little. so with the help of my friends we twisted it enough to get the bolt in (the one towards the front) but we were unable to get the other on in.after having a long look at it i cant find out what the arm does. if u know please tell me. second if everything is connected right except for that, is it safe to drive on? i dont plan on running it hard of course. thanks

Re: something is crooked and its no bueno (LudeTuner)
If your radius arm doesn't bolt up correctly, there's probably something more up with your suspension than just a bent lower control arm (maybe just the radius arm itself though)... The radius arm ties the suspension arm to the front cross member cushioning(sp?) the front/rear movement of the wheels while keeping them relatively "in place." I wouldn't run your car without them, as it would (for ONE thing) through the entire front geometry out of whack! Get the rest of the suspension checked out for bent/broken components and fix that sucker!!! HTH
