Default solid, quality, cost efficient build on an H

ok so my block on the h is on its way out and Im due for a rebuild. I dont want to spend to much money but at the same time I dont want to use cheap materials. So I was thinking oem bearings, eagle rods, je piston heads etc. What would you guys use if you were rebuilding your block but didnt want to go crazy exspensive. So just list out what you would go with from who and where would you buy it from?

what are the plans for the motor/power?

rods/forged pistons are overkill for a n/a motor. plus you will have to have the block re-sleeved to do forged pistons.

stock rods, (arp bolts if they make them) with type s pistons would be good for n/a.

Type S cams and oversize Type S pistons is not a bad way to go. These parts are getting cheaper these days, and should give you oem reliability.

I am not looking for any crazy power gains but some would be nice since I am rebuilding it and it would be stupid not to gain something from it. Where is the best place to purchase type s parts?

http://www.hmotorsonline.com sells type s pistons, cams, and even the euro-r intake manifold. I have had and heard nothing but good experiences with them. I ordered my H22 swap from them about a year and a half ago and it went smooth as butter and its still running like a top. The IM will run you 225+shipping, cams are 550 shipped, and the pistons are 200 shipped. The price I gave is for new oem jdm parts. These part coupled with an intake, good header, exhaust and some tunning should get you to around 200+ whp.
