true. but i don't want to convert my Prelude into a Skyline. Thats totally different.
Its like converting a Fiero into a Ferarri. But while you may be thinking that its "cool" the truth is - it's still a prelude. just a whole lot less of a Prelude.
So lets keep preludes as preludes and skylines as skylines.
no comprende? well, here is how i see it:
you have a prelude. so out of the blue you get this idea to buy a skyline motor, or "skyline body kit", or convert your headlights and tail-lights.... WAIT. that must mean you're not happy with your prelude. right?
it means that you don't like the way it looks or performs. otherwise you'd be proud of your prelude and you'd keep it as what it is - a HONDA Prelude. you wouldn't try to make some confused hybrid out of it.
actually, if you're using a Prelude just as a project car that you're gonna turn into something else, then IMO you're not even a Prelude fan (eventhough you own one).
you know what i see those cars with "conversions" as? i see them as cheap copies of the cars their owners would really like to own.
it's like buying a HANES t-shirt and attaching a VERSACE tag on it.
im not saying you're doing that, just generally speaking.
and also, there is always that "its a free country" ****. so yeah, whoever wants to convert their prelude (or any other car) into a skyline or an F16, go right ahead.
your car, your money, your time.
i'll just look at it and laugh. so will many other people.
