who ****** cares why he wants to do it or not?

search. there are many threads on it. just know that you're not going to be able to and you don't have the money to do it. other than that good luck

cut the guy some slack...

granted that i DO AGREE with all of you that it's a bad idea, probably won't happen, much more than the car is worth, all that...let the guy ask his question. geeeeez.

the only info i can give you on this subject is that there are a FEW ways to do it. the most common (to my knowledge) is to obtain the firewall off of a RHD vehicle and swap that into the car first (so as to locate things such as steering column and so on where they need to go). then you gotta change over the interior pieces (dash, door cards, etc.). there is also significant modification required on the engine side, the first thing coming to mind is the need for a RHD engine harness (which i HAVE a complete uncut one for a DA from an XSI should you decide to do this. let me know, i don't need the thing). anyway...i would suggest against this, but best of luck should you decide to go for it.

lke2drvgsr......best avatar ever....ever

second....people got to understand something....unless your car came on a boat from the far away land known as japan...it will NEVER be jdm....hence japan domestic market....on the contrary....certain "jdm" touches are hot...for instance the jdm conversion....black tinted headlights....hid's.....BAM

but on the other hand...i dont understand this big thing with jdm...nowadays everything is "JDM STYLE" or "JDM"....its not really that great imo...

but everyones entitled...so go ahead...go right hand drive...i for one wouldnt want to shift with my left hand...i can barely hold a fork with it

first off, not trying to claim jdm here. if i wanted a real jdm car, i could get one no problem. it's not about the money because we've already purchased the clip. how do you know i don't have the money for it? it's not like a rhd conversion has never been done before. i was just curious if anyone's had any experience in doing this. obviously not on this forum, but thanks for the input anyway.

basically, for everyone's info, this project car is not going to be "jdm", not a daily driver, or for show or whatever the hell it is you think. it is a PROJECT car meaning i'm going to experiment with it in order to learn from the experience. thanks g2teg for at least helping me.

liar haha mine says made in japan so there for it must be JDM hahahahaha

but i wouldn't say it's just here for the JDM craze cause over in VW land everyone is euro crazy everything has to be euro or not at all, and it's even funnier cause i get Performance VW , only sometimes though at $10 an issue, and everyone there wants US styling haha a beautiful new beetle was featured then i saw a picture of the back and it had "altezzas" and he said he added those for a US look and wants to get spinners to add ot the US styling look

is that what we're known for? we're known for the ugliest shittiest styling on earth?
