Default Skunk2 Valvetrain + Headwork Setup

Hey yall I had already started a thread about my setup

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=891643

I still have a couple of questions on what I'm going to do with my head.

I'm going to get my head ported and polished and probably a three-angle valve job. I already got a estimate for this the guy said around $650.

Now my question is do I have to/or should I replace the valve guides....?
What can I expect out of the three-angle valve job?
Should I get a MSD Ignition + Coil ?
What kind of Timing Belt should I get? or Should I just get an OEM one?
What alse do you guys recommend to get to get this setup to work to its fullest?

Before I get all this work done to my head I'm also going to get a DC Header and modify the collector to 2.5" and a Apex'i N1 catback to get the exhaust flowing better.

As far as the fuel goes and tuning I already have an AEM Fuel Rail with Fuel Pressure regulator and a VAFC.

Thanks ahead for your feedback

If you are going to invest $600 into p&p I think you should reconsider the dc header and go for something that has proven gains...

You should really start doing some extensive research. Search on here, google and call shops...

The Prospeed header looks pretty good but how much more power does it give, after all it is like $700 bucks?

Would it have a problem fitting in a 4th gen lude? Because it says it's designed to fit on 92-00 civics and 92-00 Accords.... I know the accord and then Prelude are some what similar in parts. I want to make sure 'cause if its known to give some decent power It looks like a considerable choice. Like you said I gotta do some research.

Very nice, very considerable for $700
So I guess I'll be looking at the prospeed header for my setup...

What about the MDS Ignition would it be a suggestable upgrade or should my stock ignition system be fine for now?

I got a VAFC for now, but I am considering Hondata for later on when I do my bottom end. Right now I'm trying to get my head + Header + Exhaust.

Goddammit!!! I hate it when people say that. You do know that your h22 has a three angle cut on your valve seat STRAIGHT FROM HONDA!!!

Well you obviously dont know.... but damn.. read up some before you go pay someone all this money and they do nothing but bend you over for **** you dont need.

Sorry for the rant...

Lol it's all good, hey at least you gave me some info on something that I don't need and I was planing to do.

Should I replace my valve guides when I get all this headwork done though?

depends on if they are worn out and how many miles are on the motor, they arent too expensive so I personally would just replace them

If they aren't that expensive then I'll just got ahead and replace them like you say.

What about for the Timing Belt....would an OEM Timing Belt do? or Should I go with a Greddy Timing Belt or Power Enterprise Timing Belt?

Obviously reliability its a big issue. So what do you guys suggest?

oem timing belt is fine
replace your valve stem seals
as well if you're getting the head work done
