Default skunk2 shifter?

Looking to buy a skunk2 short shifter... I know it does state that its for 94-01 integras and 92-00 civics but i know that there is often exceptions. Would I be able to put it in my 85 lude?

Projectlude,

have a look here:

http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/quikshift.htm

I know that Pacesetter doesn't make the greatest exhaust systems, but their shifters seem to be made pretty well and have a lifetime warranty. they have a specific application for a 1985 Prelude and it retails for $100 - I bet you could get it for ~$80 from a Pacesetter dealer.

i've actually seen the pacesetter shifter on andysautosport but i've heard horrible things about the brand pacesetter, so i was looking for a way around buying that one. I've heard great things about skunk2 in general, specifically there shifters and on preludepower i was told that some civic parts work for 2nd gen ludes. Plus, its only a bolt on shifter so it cant be such a hassle getting it to fit. Im gonna buy it either way, i'd just prefer someone to tell me it will definetly fit, to avoid the trouble of returning it
