Just want to know who has them and your experiences with them. Just ordered a set. Mainly DD with 2-3x per month of track use. Post up some pics of the drop and overall satisfaction with the product.

IMHO Skunk2 is a cheap product. The supension for the Civic body style made my Skunk2 is horribly bouncy. But thats all the experience that I have with them.

Found these pics on HT,
The 1st one is with the Skunk2 coilovers, not sure about rest of the suspension setup. And the rest are with Skunk2's and Tokico blues. The drop looks very good, just wondering about the ride quality. Also on a budget so that's why I ordered this setup. Tell me your experiences.

i also use skunk 2 with tokico.
i dont think the ride is bouncy but i havent ridden in any other car with a modded suspension

I read this interesting article about dampers and springs, I believe it's on the new Modified mag and it talks about how important the damper(shock) has to match the spring rate for the best handling w/o sacrificing comfort (that's for a street inspired sport tuned car). They state how companys such as Tein etc; spent a lot of time and money doing research to develop and best match the damper to the spring on each application. So, far it seems that lude fans had found that Ground Control and Koni is good match, suspension it's a very important aspect that nobody should skimp on Find the mag at you local Barnes&Noble and read it! it's free

the last numbers on mine were 10/8 front/rear

heres the full number on it

0800.2.50.010 front
0700.2.50.080 rear

im thinking 8" long spring, 2.5" diaeter spring, then 10k spring rate

Agreed. I don't like Skunk2 coilovers at all.

These cars are owned by the same person but i dont remember his name on here. i wonder if tokico blues + skunk2's is really the setup and the comfortability level. it's 2 of only a handful of slammed preludes ive seen on here. hope the owner can chime in.

i think his screen name is "yowhudupb" or something like that. i know he did some "modifications" to the skunk2's so he can ride that low.

i have skunk 2 coilovers with tokico whites in the rear and koni yellows in the front. I love the ride this set up. the ride quality isn't too bad but than again i dont have my car slammed. The dampening on the tokico shocks are set at 3 and the konis are almost at full stiff. I would imagine that skunk2 coilovers with tokico blues would have a very uncomfortable ride.

I'll try it and let you guys know. Got all the parts in, only thing left to buy is an Impact Wrench and wait for a warm day.

I'm currently on stock shocks with Neuspeed sport springs. I like the ride comfort. Want to go lower, swap shocks and compare ride comfort. Don't have adjustable shocks so I'm either going to have to get used to it or sell it. I'll see how it turns out. I know I'm going to like the drop, but not sure about comfort or ride quality.

what are you're plans with the new setup as far as the drop is concerned? how low are you aiming for?

About a 3-inch drop all around. Not slammed, but tucked. One of my worries is my oil-pan and my exhaust downpipe. These would get destroyed if not careful when driving, at least on my streets they would.

My car isn't even dropped and today I was looking under my car and my oil pan is dented in and destroyed.. Good luck with that.. I wonder how my oil pan will last when I get my H&R race springs.

tokico blues are not going to last long if you drop it 3inches all around like you say you are. i had tokico blue shocks with neuspeed race springs 2.25F/2.0R and they didnt hold up their dampening very long. if you're dropping that low i would definitely go with some koni's.

I have this exact set up on my lude right now.....the springs have held up fine,the shocks are still good after about a year....but it is a stiff ride,no body roll and handles great,but bad roads are felt throught the whole car.Overall I would give them a great review for the price.

im on ground control as well. pretty decent specially since im still on oem shocks.
