Shifting problems.
I have a 2001 base manual prelude with 61K miles.
Recently I noticed it was really hard to put into 1st from a stop. I then heard a noise coming from the tranny, a light whining sound when I put it into any gear at stop with the clutch pedal depressed ofcourse. There was grinding when I put the gear into second from first at low speeds. Clutch fluid looks ok / no leaks on the master and slave cylinders. Is this common on 60K prelude? What would it be? Could it be synchros? Tranny fluid?

when i was having clutch problems when i put it into first at a light somethimes it would engage and jerk the car and also it would block me from going into first gear. when i did change my clutch i found out my clutch bearing was cracked in half and broke into two when it hit the floor!
first do the little things first:
bleed your clutch
tranny fluid flush with Honda mtf (new one with white cap)
