just a question. with a lufe what the best and most effective way to shift when dragging with someone?

Just shift quickly and don't miss gears. Take it up to just below 8,000 rpm if it's a really close race(This will wear down your valve train quicker.) You'll develop your own style though if you just go out and race.

 

Best way to shift is to make sure you hit every gear without slipping.

 

1) Right foot never leaves the floor

2) Kick clutch and shift

You will get beter with practice ... just don't take to long to figure it out or get out the wallet!

 

LC from preludeonline? Yeah power shifting works, but you can **** up your clutch and over rev the engine if you miss a gear. And don't try it while using nitrous. You'll hit the fuel cutoff when you're shifting and end up putting holes through your pistons.
