Default Running Lean?

I just pulled the plugs on my 99 and found out that the electrodes on them are grey, not a nice brown like they should be. The motor is stock, so I dont know why or how I could be running lean enough to get them as white as they were. Any Ideas?

Here is a pic of the #2 plug. I can take pics of all of them if it would help, but they all pretty much look like this:

Why would you want to run lean? that's dangerous for the motor.

Do all of your plugs look the same or is it only cylinder #2 which looks different?

Get some sort of fuel management and get it dyno tuned, something like a VAFC, or if money allows it, Hondata.
