do a full throttle run to almost redline and shut your car off at that point.
without revving down or anything, just shut it off, and coast to the side of the road.

pull ur plugs, take a pic of them and post it.

that'll give a good idea of how your engine is running.

what this tells us is that under your normal driving conditions, combined,
you're running pretty rich.

But i've seen worse,
I had an overly cammed sohc setup and my plugs were JET BLACK,
i mean no color whatsoever. I see at least some brown on your plugs.. so they arent completely coated, haha.

i think the point is to NOT let them idle.. as in, take them out immediately after the run

Actually the plugs are at the right heat range from the pics, BUThe really won't know until he does a wot pull and checks his plugs.

I think that will really only serve for checking for detonation.
How rich will it run at idle? If you keep it in closed loop it should correct itself to stoich.
Also even on new plugs it wont show. That takes time to burn like that on plugs.
Doing a pull and shutting it off on those plugs will look exactly the same.
They are black and will remain black.
Get on a wideband and cut the guessing.
