rich fuel
I have a honda prelude 88,4ws si automatic and i had a blown head gasket( because the thermo fan didnt work for a while and caused the engine runs overheat) so i put some sealant stuff into the radiator to fix the head gasket and then i crossed over the fan so it runs always , but i faced to a problem afterward .black smoke comes out of the exhaust and the car running rich fuel(20 litre in 100km), When driving, it drives like there is air in the gas or something, the car is sluggish ,i replace the distributer cap,all the wires and spark plugs, map sensor, pcv valve, air and fuel filter,i checked all the injectors they working good, but i still have the problem, anybody has an idea?

Re: rich fuel (sam80)
I would say something in your ignition/spark system. The fuel sounds as if its not getting burned off possibly.
The likelyhood of your fuel system over fueling is not as likely. You could get the fuel pressure tested to rule out fuel delivery, which would only leave spark I would think.
Your 88 prelude is Fuel injected is it not? I can't remember when they switched over from Carb.
maybe check ignition timing???
