There are a number of users that run the AEM dryflow or Amsoil filter. Particularly the Audi/VW crowd because they are MAF equipped.

i read that some people were putting the flow stack on a CAI. how are you guys fitting the filter down in the fender well?

edit:nvm i think my ebay cai is just too short.

well that explains it then. my piping only goes in about 2 inches. hopefully i can find a cheap AEM.

mine fits in there fine also. Just need to pull back the splah guard to get it in from the bottom.

Have you compared the CAI with/without the flow stack? The only reason I ask is because of the results of your original dyno comparison.

actually i have never tried the difference. I have the filter for it in storage so i could do a little test the next time i get on the dyno again since i have yet to dyno tune with eCtune. You'll see results in the near future.
