Hey guys
I got a 1992 prelude si with a h22a in it. The other day i was driving through a carpark i was in first gear and the car just like ceased up, everytime i tryed to take off in first it wuld go and then the wheels would just lock up. Now the car doesnt want to move at all, and it feels like its stuck in a gear. You cant turn the car on unless the clutch is in (even when its in neutral), and if u let go of the clutch the car stalls, but it wont move at all no matter how much u rev it. It was going into all gears before, but now it doesnt want to go into 3rd and 4th. What could be the problem???

how loose is your shifter?
and i wouldn't try messing with it until you know what you've done. don't make a small problem a bigger, more expensive problem.

but if it was the clutch, wouldn't every gear have issues? the clutches i've broken(way too many in my short life), the car would jump when you tried to start it even with the clutch pushed in, wouldn't shift except for rev matching...i don't think that's the issue here.

jack up the front wheels, get a friend to push the clutch in, see if the wheels will move freely.
pop the hood and check the shifters for free movement
pull the drain plug and see if some metal comes out

Done all of that
Wheels move freely, the shifters are fine and no metal bits come out of the gearbox. The gearbox is probably just gone cant think of anything else

Sounds like clutch to me.
Look at it this way you have to pull trans regardless. Pull the trans and inspect clutch, clutch ok tear apart trans.
On second thought after rereading your post the way you describe it confuses me. Pull the trans and see what you got.
