Hey Guy's
My car won't move in 1st gear, Grinds in 2nd gear,
3rd gear works sometimes, 4th gear seems to work fine, and 5th Gear works sometimes.....

AND

My SHifter won't stay in the gears , and I can move the shifter around in circles. What's that about???
If I get a <U>NEW CLUTCH</U> Do you guys think all my problems
will go away??

it could be your clutch
you could be out of transmission fluid
all the syncros could be TOAST.
here, test your clutch, go 20mph and put it in 5th gear, then slam the gas. if the engine revs really high and the car dosent accelerate its your clutch

Those cars use cable shifters right? Better make sure those things are adjusted perfect. My friend had the same problem in his DSM. Once we got the cables adjusted properly, the car shifted good, except for the second gear syncros being shot.....
