if you want the nice sound, but dont want to suck up any small animals on the road, just remove the (spelling?) air resonators on your intake, they're little useless tubes stemming from the intake. but i have a 96, so im not 100% with you 2k guys.
or go to cosmoracing.com and look for a cold air intake, it's a small company, i got mine for 100$, over night shipping!

you're sucking up crap into your engine. Instructions on removing the resonator can be found on ntpog.com

you dumbass. My friend took the filter off his car for the same reason.....you know how long his car lasted after that? About 3 weeks. That was on a 700 dollar ford probe. That would suck if that happened to your 10,000 dollar sh.
Dont do ghetto **** like that....either get an aftermarket intake...or leave it alone.

i hope you mean just the resonator...

you lose low end torque and it sounds neat...you don't really gain anything

Try taking off the valve cover and driving around for a week or so too. I think that should sound even cooler.

HAHA think about it you removed the filter. Whats the purpose of the filter but to filter the air that is getting sucked in. Come on think about it!!
