Default Plug Wire Resistance...

Just a simple question... My plug wires say year 2000 on them and I have 5.24 kOhms on the longest one.. This is high resistance isnt it? I am noticing a small misfire at idle and I want to make sure it isnt my wires, although they could be firing to ground I know, but does this resistance look ok?

The resistance of every single wire shouldn't exceed 25 kOhms. Your wire is OK.
