Default 3 wire to 2 wire iacv ?

I need to do the iacv 2 wire plug for my 98 EK4dr with a B-series swap......I went to the junk yard and couldnt find a teggy at all they only had a few eg so i cut the plug of the eg ...Does it matter if the 2 wire iacv plug came off the eg ..Would that plug still work or do i need the one that has the Green and Black wire?

It doesn't matter what color the wires are. As long as the plug fits you're good.

You actually have the correct colored wires in the plug you are holding in the photo.

Your 3-wire IACV plug has two wires that match this, along with an orange wire. You will connect the yel/blk to the blk/yel wire, connect the blu/yel wires, and then at the ECU end, move the blu/yel wire to the other side of the orange wire in the ECU plug. Once moved, remove the orange wire and tape over at both ends.
