quick question: plug wire has a piece of wire protruding ?
a friend of mine pulled one of his plug wires and it has something sticking out of the end of it. i cant see it in person, but he says its a piece of wire or something sticking out the end of the plug wire and he cant get it to push back in, or it pushes in and comes back out, or something. any ideas ?

sounds like the wire is falling apart on him. If the are stock of course. but if they are a set of aftermarket ones then it may be the ground wire. Tell to just get a set of new ones from the local car shop.
