O2 sensor ?
i have a jdm h22 and i hacked into the o2 sensor for my a/f gauge... it runs like ****, boggs down, idles terrible..(the sensor is still oem from 93) well i just hooked up burk (the weatherman's) ecu (p28 with s300) he has it running all open loop and it fixed my problems... would this be because of the o2 sensor???? anyhelp is greatly appreciated!!!!

hold your horses. you haven't even waited that long
its hard to trouble shoot electrical problems

i used alldata when i spliced in... it sait that the green/white wire is the signal...and my a/f gauge doesnt even work right.... if thats my prob, ill buy a new o2 and splice directly to the ecu.... but god his ecu helped, so much better pull, idle, no bogging! for the first time since my swap i was happy, lol! cant wait till its running good, but an s300 is deffinatly my next investment, well after new brakes!
no prob dude, i can understand wanting to fix things, having a car down is not fun
but yeah, you might want to try buying a denso o2 sensor with the harness just to be sure. i can't garuntee it will work but that elminates one problem. plus its time to probably change it after being a 93 model

yea, thanks man ill do that in tomorrow once i get to school, and if that doesnt work im lost. but electrical stuff sucks, good thing i go to a school that can do all kinds of scopes for me.
Check continutiy on each wire to the ecu or if one is a ground. I know your suppose to be getting battery voltage to the o2 sensor from one of the wires. Alll you need is a dvom(multi-meter).

Let me get a little more in depth with my s300 setup.
My s300 setup is all open loop like you say.
Also, I believe my car has the wrong fuel injectors in it. In the fuel trim settings - i have everything compensated for 240cc injectors. If i try to run it on 345cc injectors, it boggs down and hesitates also. Don't know why i didn't think about this stuff yesterday at school - guess i shoulda told u then
I had a hesitation problem way back when i first got my motor also. I had the p13 in it - and it would run horribly. I think some people on here might remember those threads. Anyway, when i hooked up a p14 ecu (H23), the car ran fine - just didn't have vtec. It ran very strong though.
So, i kinda figured i had the wrong injectors or something. I told u last night that i had a vafcII at one point - and i was using that with the p13, to try to add more fuel (to compensate for my low injectors). It kinda worked...but not really.
Thats when i finally decided to fork out the $717 for my s300 - and it did work. Used the fuel compensation for 240cc injectors - and it was all good. Today, whenever you have time - we'll mess around with my s300 to see what your problem is. We should have 345cc injectors; however, something could be different. I'll borrow someone's laptop a little later - just find me, and we'll do some trouble shooting.
I'll change the fuel compensation back to 345cc injectors - and we'll see if it runs correctly. If it doesn't, that would kinda let us know that we both have the wrong injectors in our cars.
Hey, we both had the same place do our swaps - maybe they did something they're accustomed to that we don't know about????
Anyway, we can also change it into closed loop - to see if it'll run properly. We'll just mess around with it later. just get at me. I have to take a written test today. I think Basor(Ryan) is in your class, he has my phone#, so u can just get that from him.
Edit: Damn i didn't know i wrote that much

i dont think that its my injectors, well find out today, but ssc did tell me they put my injectors from the old motor in ther... ill get at you... i just finised my written so whenever your ready
If SSC put your old injectors in your car - you're running with 240cc peak and hold injectors. In order to compensate for the low flow rate - you'll have to up the pressure to 70psi - thats without maxing out the injectors. The max duty cycle you will see is 80%.
If you want to run 90% - you can get away with 55psi I believe. Which isn't too bad at all.
We'll just see a little later.
