Just curious as to what size shots your running, and at what point if when do you have to upgrade injectors/pump. Mildly modded (I/H/E, and cams soon) and nx wet kit planning on 75 shot. Should I be all good, or do I have to upgrade stuff. I tried search and found no answers, and since I'm a ford guy all this honda stuff is new to me.

upgrade fpr, fuel pump, retard timing couple of degrees, colder spark plugs, do compression test, cant really think of anything else

I was fine with the stock FPR and a holley 255 pump it had me a 44psi. I also ran a race plug so i could go down 2 steps colder. The 75 shot worked great up until last thursday when the motor blew on the dyno. I don't think the shot was to blame more of the fact the guy engaged the nitrous at to low of an rpm.
Thanks for info. As this motor isn't going to be sprayed all the time, can I keep timing stock so I don't lose power then maybe just run a little less shot, or does a couple degrees timing not even hinder you that much.
Im not too sure what the rules are, like about asking a different question in a thread, kind of like what Im about to do. Anyways its kind of related so I hope I ain't breaking any rules, but ok my question is: When trying to buy a used car, is there any way you can see if the owner previously used nitrous? (cuz I think most people would rather buy a car that wasn't squeezin' that stuff). I have never seen a car with nitrous in person so I wouldnt know what to look for. Ok thanks

That's first gear though.

I believe it puts too much stress on the crank (rotating assembly)
and works too hard to build up rpms.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hard to say.
See what plugs he has in it.
Check the Ignition timing.
See if there is an extra hole in the intake where
he might have previously had a nozzle/jet.
See if there are any holes in the trunk where
he might have routed the nitrous lines to the bottle.
That's first gear though.

It was on a dyno, the guy started the pull at 35mph IN FORTH GEAR. Way to much stress on the motor, plus I don't think the ecu really liked it much either(timing, fuel). The guy was a dyno newbie so that played a factor. I've sprayed from a dig tones of time and have even bogged it in 2nd and had to go through the whole powerband with it on without a problem. The car hauled *** with the 75shot F**k I miss it.
Oh and the NX kit say that there is no timing retard needed so I never retarded mine.

This is why I go somewhere will they'll let you
make the pass on the dyno.

Just because it never went *Boom* before when you did that doesn't
mean you weren't tearing up your motor.

I still would of retarded it a little with a 75 shot.
