Re: NEW COILOVERS (stub92111)
well i'm lookin for something that has a good combo. Not too much into the drag, i do like to go out to the track a run a couple laps. The car does have a body kit and 18" rims (for show) and installing a fmax turbo kit in a coulpe of weeks. But right now the car just bottoms out like crazy, only in the front. I just bought new KYB shocks last summer worked good till last week. My wallet is by all means not thick, but i'm lookin for a good full coilover kit that will cure my bottoming out and give me good handling. Thanks

They are only discontinued in the north america.. they are still produced in japan. As far as I know there wasnt a specific reason for this..
Tein can still work on them though.. a lot of guys get them revalved after a couple years.

the HA's are a solid setup.
if that doesn't work out, a good double duty (street/track) suspension is the Tein SS. it's not that hardcore, but it's comfortable.
if you want more out of your suspension, you can look into the JIC FLT-A2, the Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers, or the Endless Zeal S6. All three of these suspensions cost from $1400 to $2000 depending on what kind of deal you can get. The good things about these suspensions are that they are full chromoly/stainless, are ride height/suspension travel independent (no bottoming out), and have stiffer linear spring rates from the factory(though the springs can be changed to whatever you want). AFAIK, these 3 are the best of the "full coilovers" available for the prelude.
the ground control+koni setup is tried and true, and is affordable and versatile. The GC's can be custom ordered for whatever spring rates you want, and the konis can be shortened and revalved to any spec to match the application. both GC and koni make a quality product and stand by it.

Re: (bad-monkey)
What is a good spring rate for the type of setup in a 93 lude, I don't drag too much maybe once in awhile, so i do want some good control but i want something that will stop this god damn bottoming out, Thanks guys
