Tein or Zeail coilovers which should i get?
Hey guys, im at the point on building my car were i need to do my suspension, now ive been wanting Tein SS coilovers but my freind at a local shop said the Zeail coilovers are better? is this true or is he pulling my leg. im looking to go drag car, but i want to be able to go to a track and not smash into a wall, Im basicaly looking for OVERALL performance Drag/Track. my car is a 92civic hatch w/ a JDM B18C(GSR), i need to know about the flexability or each one.

If the car is going to be used mostly for drag and hardly any track then a good GC/Koni combo is your best bet.

well ive been looking at coilovers cause if you look at most of the fast drag civic/FWD cars they are all using coilovers and on track they are not as many thats why i need to know if they are flexible enough to do both

Zeal B6's. My buddy has them...they can handle like a dream and he hits consistant 2.0 60 foots on stret tires

i dont think you should waste your time with the ss or b6, if that is your price range just get some gc/konis... but if you can spend more and sacrifice streetabibly get the tein ra's or zeal s6's they are both very light and stiff as hell.

I've had the tein ss for about 3 months and I believe that I got my $$$ worth..... Many peps on this board will vouch for the ss, 16 dampening positions with good adjustability . Tein puts out a trust worthy product and the ss are getting cheaper everyday...........I paid $900 3 1/2 months ago..........

I agree...I have the SS on my EG and I think they are great. I am surprised how many people on here talk smack on stuff and they never even seen the aprts in person, let alone never tried them....the SS work well.
BUT, if your budget can handle it, the FLEX have better ride height and travel settings, as well as standard pillow mounts....

This is my $.02:
Your best bet if you want a full coilover setup is a Tein prolly type flex or a JIC setup. Both of these companies have outstanding products and both have US service centers to get **** fixed. My friend has some JIC FLT-A2's on his maxima and one of his pillow mounts was bad and they fixed it for basically free. So i know htey have good service. Better to be able to send something to cali to get fixed than to japan.
