Need Advice
I recently bought a 1997 Prelude(SH), I have some extra cash so I also picked up a Sick APEX-i turbo kit(T3/T4)
I installed it myself in my dads garage(he has great tools
) I am currently running 7 p.s.i but I am not really sure how much horsepower I have. Well to cut to the chase, I want to know where I can get some quality parts so I can bullet proof the block(pistons, connecting rods, ect.) I really want to crank up the boost really high like 30 p.s.i I am currently using 550 injectors with a APEX-i F-CON. Should I use 660's for so much boost? I want to beat my cocky friends STi

I'm not familliar with the specs or design of the Apex-i turbo kit, but I doubt it's going to run 30 psi of boost. However to beat your friends STI you won't need to run a full 30 PSI. Anyways, lookup various H-T members Turbo builds (there's a Turbo Lude thread) to familiarize yourself with parts & talk to the builder you want to work with. Remember your block needs to be sleeved. To run 15+ lbs of boost, what you'll need to clean up the STI you'll want some 720's and good engine management. If you want to run 30 lbs of boost a custom turbo Manifold with 3" exhaust piping and larger turbo are going to be needed.
