Default misshifted from 3rd to 2nd... i need your opinions!

well last night i was out on the freeway, i was in 3rd around 5/6k rpms and i went for 4th and i dont know wtf happened, but i managed to shift into 2nd, it jumped up for a second, and i popped it back into the proper gear... either way... the car sounds fine, feels just as strong, everything seems fine, but do you guys think i should do something? if so, what should i check to make sure all is well? or do you think if it sounds fine and runs fine that i shouldnt worrk about it? I know h22's are pretty damn sturdy.

change your oil atleast. if there are any metal shavings in the oil, this will get them out rather than letting them cycle into your engine.

^^^^Do what he said. If everything feels fine driving then you probably didn't mess anything up. Did you happen to see how far up the revs went?
I miss shifted into first once, instead of third, ouch . I thought I blew my motor, but I managed to limp the car home. It turned out I blew up my clutch disc. There was only one little tiny piece of material left on it....

change oil first thing you should do, if you hear any clicking noise even a little bit, then get the valve adjustment done.
