Default MIR

Well this is not that technical, but it does relate to Prelude's. I was at MIR today and saw a silver 5th Gen run 12.5 for his first run. Of course he had FI, but then on his second run he got a 11.9!! I tried to look for the car in the pit area but couldn't find it there, just wondering if anyone was there and saw that, I thought it was quite impressive for a 5th Gen Prelude ...but 4th Gen still rule .

Hey, yeah I saw you run too what times did you get, and aren't you from NOVA? I have seen your car around that area before.

yea im from NOVA and got to run the car 2 times.. yesterday was the first time ive run the car at the track since i got it all setup, tuned, and done so i wasnt sure what to expect.. i wanted an 11 sec run because its got the power and setup for it but i had some trouble yesterday..

i was running slicks and on the first run i didnt have enough air pressure in the passenger front, so i was fighting the car the whole way down the track to keep it straight, car was driving like you had a flat tire which it was, there was only 8psi in the tire after the run.. that run was an 12.9 @ (i think 104mph)

second run i had the air pressure good at 10psi and was set, had a great launch till i got to the end of the 60' mark when i hit the hondata boost cut @ 20psi and blew my intercooler charge pipe off and ran down the track w/ NO boost at all. running a 17.4@76mph :-(

i was disapointed at the end of the 2nd run and decided it was time to go home and say screw racing again in the ET races..

Yeh, my friend had poor times the second time he ran his car. He got a 14.8 on first run with his stock ITR and then ran again but there was just to much water on the track from the burn out contest and he ran a 14.9...his best was a 14.5 though. My car has some brake issues so I couldn't run that day but I think we are gonna head up too the track again in like 2 weeks, but not MIR because it gets kinda crowded.

i was hoping to get atleast a couple more runs this season before i put the car up for the winter.. i wonder how MIR will be for test and tune the next 2 sundays.. i hate the drive up there but its the best track around.. the manassass and sumerduck 1/8 mile tracks are still open on sundays also.. i might hit that one of those to practice my launching and full throttle shifts, i just wont have a trailer anymore like yesterday but ill have AAA if i do break down and they can tow me home..

What up bro, did you run your car? I was driving the Green Teg. I ran a 16.3 on my first run. Towards the end of the night i was running 14.4 though. That was with a shitty 2.360 ft too. a 2.2 im sure would've got me a 14.3 or .2
