I've been autoxing for ~2yrs now, so i have begun teaching/helping other people do it. Lately one of my 'students' has begun to beat me BIG time. Last race he was 4secs ahead of me. I dunno if i should be happy that i did a good job helping him, or be mad that i made him faster than me, he is in my class
Now he does have a better car, he has a 5th gen Prelude Type SH.

Has this happened to anyone else?

 

dude, it could be a variety of factors, dont stress, plus its not really an equal playing ground between a 5th gen lude and a 5th gen kord, rember the 5th gen lude SH has the AWS, and the only time it is ever useful is to help scrubby drivers look like they know what they are doing

 

i would be proud as hell to see someone who you helped do really good

 

the 5th gen lude does not have all-wheel-steering

Umm... I don't think Preludes have had 4WS since the 3G Prelude Si 4WS which I think was a '90 model year car. Right around there anyways.

 

Actually, the 4th gen DID come with 4ws, non VTEC engine in 93.
