Lights problem=teh sad
alright, the problem is w/ Parking lights, taillights, instrument panel lights, side-makers and rear license plate lights (courtesy lights). *Note Head lights are the only the works (high and low beams)*. Ive checked fuse and bulbs and everything seems to be good. the lights will only work when I use my keyless entry control (they would flash). **** I am really confuse-pissed, I dont know what else to check and I dont wanna go to a Honda Dealer yet. The car is a 5th gen (2000) to be exact. HeLp...Thanks in advance.
Just based on what you said, I would think that the lights switch (the one you turn to turn the headlights on) is faulty.
Since the key fob makes them work, I think it the the switch. The alarm bypasses the switch.
Just what I would check first.

thanks bro. like I said before head lights and turn lights are the only exterior lights
that works, is any probability that the lights switch will only work for headlights and
turnlights? if so how do I check it?
_thanks

I am not sure how you would check it. I couldn't imagine what else it could be.
You already confirmed that all the lights work when you arm the alarm. Also, if you think about it, when you turn the switch once, it turns on the lights that you say aren't turning on. I believe that when you turn the switch one more time, that only activates the headlights.
Maybe take the switch out and take it to an electrical shop to have them test. They should be able to help you.
Good luck.
