Default Knock sensor

When i pulled my motor my harness got caught on something and i broke the knock sensor...my question is does this put the ecu into limp mode or not? I'm going to be going to a p28 in a week or so I'm not interested in replacing it, thanks

i did the same thing when pulling my head off. But if you plan on running a p28 you will not need it

if you run the stock p13 it will throw a code and cause you to pull timing and add fuel,

also how do you plan on controling the IABs with the p28? also you will need to adjust your fuel hap to be a prelude , and have the secondary cams come in at 4900,

unless your going boosted , then by removing the IABs you losing significant low end, honda put them there for a reason.

well im just testing for myself, honda put them there for a reason on a stock motor, my motor is built high compression with crower stage 3 cams and crower valvetrain, with oversized valves, and i had my throttle body, intake manifold, and head ported at DPR with a prospeed header and 2.5" exhaust, so my car has alot more to gain by the shorter runner length than to gain with the IABs on the low end, and even this is only temporary for a month or so until im done with the ITBs
