H22A-4002481 is this a jdm engien code, if it was usdm wouldnt it be like h22a4- 946286, jus an idea because i might be purchasin this nd just wanna make sure its what he is sayin it is.

 

JDM engines have no numers at the end.

H22a4 USDM
H22a1 USDM
H22a JDM

 

i know that but i was wondering if anyone with a more in-depth knowledge about the engine codes would know whether or not this was jdm because he didnt give me the engine code on teh block only the engine ID number, the dash indicates that this could be number 4002481 of the engine produced nd therefore still be jdm. if its usdm then it could possibly h22a4 - then some more numbers

if that is the the exact number off the stamp near the tranny, then yes it is JDM

the stamp should look like this

4002481 does sound a little high of an engine stamp number
but i could be wrong, I know mine is somewhere around 1014824

pretty low # like Behan's
