Default H22 engine {USDM vs. JDM)

i was calling around here in england asking them to get a JDM H22 engine. The only problem is they dont know how to tell if it is british or JDM? can anyone help me out on that?

well I don't know about british, but the JDM engine codes don't have a number signifier after them, i.e. JDM = H22A USDM = H22A1

doesnt jdm have higher compression on some of them...vs the usdm ones?!?!

Any ways yeah like he said if it just says h22a its jdm if it says h22a and then a number it is usdm.

he is talking about the difference between Euro/British spec and JDM spec. He wasnt talking about USDM engines.

yes we know

regardless, the same rule of thumb follows throughout the world

H22A(Insert ANY # here) = NOT JDM

H22A = JDM

all of jdm H series have higher compression
