interchangable pistons???
i think it will work , as far as i know the cc volume o the h22a1 and h22a4 is the same, and the bore and stroke of all the h22s is the same. i think it will work. do some research on aftermarket rods, and pistons, and see if they seperate the a1 from the a4
You will need to read the letters stamped into the block fom which the pistons came from... As long as you match an "A" piston to an "A" cylinder, etc. you will be okay. The letters can range from A to D, but most are either A's or B's... I believe the difference between each letter is .005" but if someone has their Helms handy, correct me if I'm wrong...
As far as rods go, I'm not sure... I know that the 99+ cranks have much larger main journals, but I think that the rod journals are the same size... Make sure you get the correct "colored" bearing for your application from Honda.
