a lot of people say just an ebay CAI with a K&N filter. i personally have the AEM CAI which i love. the difference will be minimal, i just wanted a 1 piece pipe, and no coplings.

I've heard that bypass valves do not work too well. I have never used one so I can give personal testimony. I like Iceman CAI.

Not true. Have you seen the vid (I think it was top gear or something) with the owner of AEM and his NSX supercharged I believe tested the bypass filter on a dyno.

They got a big bucket of water and rerouted the intake outside the car and into the bucket and went full throttle. Not one drop of water came past the bypass valve.

I don't know where you guys are from - but for me, when i drive through a puddle, I just put my foot on the clutch and release the throttle. Besides, on my fourth gen, the intake barely breaks the surface. Has to be some deep **** to be sucked up.

I have an AEM CAI without a bypass valve. I live in FL and even with the rains we get here, I have never had a problem. Just avoid huge puddles and you will be fine.
