1,800 a year full coverage, ludes are so expensive because they are considered sports cars unlike the civic , integra, accord, etc....

Insurance is different for each state...
I'm 23,
Now I pay close to $3,000/year for my 92Si4WS

Other cars just for reference,
at age 16 '89 Beretta GT - only what was required by law for coverage $1,200
age 18 '86 Mercedes 190E - full coverage $1,800/year
age 19 '87 cavalier min coverage $2,000/year
age 20 '93 Cavalier min coverage $3,200/year
age 20 - current '92 Si4WS full coverage $2,800/year

Oh yeah tickets will bring it up very fast!

insurance is the stupidest thing we have to pay out for, the rates are always so ridiculouysly high, here in England I pay £1600/year 3rd party liability only thats like $3000 with a clean licence, low crime area, high security alarm and parked off road. Really sucks, but the worst thing here is these companies arent rregulated by anyone!

Yeah I had a lot of shitty cars in the past. I couldn't get any sort of a car loan so I have always had to pay cash.

I figured it out and in my just over 6 years of driving I have paid the insurance company over $17,000. I have 1 "at fault" accident (It was 50/50 for a year until she sued me then it became 100% my fault ) Other than that I only have tickets. Most of them should go away after this year so I'll be down to a step 19! I can not wait!
