well i'm not sure wtf anymore. everything i have checked over and over it just started 2 days ago. the sob comes on right off the bat. yur thoughts i now have grey hair

Code 22-VTEC System Malfunction

VTEC Solenoid Valve
Open or Short in VTEC Solenoid Valve circuit
VTEC Pressure Switch
Open or Short in VTEC Pressure Switch Circuit
ECM


Check and make sure your VTEC solenoid is hooked up

everything is hooked up ! new v-tec pressure switch and still shooting a 22

Check is by giving it 12V directly from the battery, right at the connector, just pop it off and give the vtec wire 12V. U should hear a loud click.

Make sure your jumper is not hit and miss, make the connection at the wire first, agood one and then hit the battery, click click is a weak solenoid, there are two parts that can go bad, the valve and the solenoid, do a search on the subject.

if the light comes on right away, after resetting the ecu and turning on the ignition, it almost always means you have an open in the wire from the ecu to the soleniod or the pressure switch. test for continuity on the light blue and grn/yel from the ecm to the switch and solenoid

well i finally had some time to continuity test. from the pressure switch off the block right had nothing when the car is off k started the car had .2 ohms reved it up to 5 1/2 rpms and it stayed the same .2
