installing tachometer w/shift lite
that is the simplest way if you can find the wire back there...i forget what color it is, i used my ohmmeter to figure that out...i went from the test connector under the hood and probed until i found the wire....

how can I connect the signal wire to the ecu?
ok well I have Connected everything, and I can't find where to get the wire (signal) through the fire wall. do I have to drill a hole? where is the area where I can lead the wire through and get it close to the speaker thing that pops out?

you can pick up the tach signal right at the cruise control module , its right under the drivers side dash

ok I got to the signal wire, or tach wire, whatever, ok now how do I get the red to the power? can I connect to the fuse box? how can I do that? can I hook up the wire and connect to the fuse amp? is that how it is done?
can I just wrap the wire around the fuse amp and plug it back into the fuse?

I would attach the red wire (from the tachometer) to one of the 12v ignition power wires (yellow, connected to the gauge cluster). There should be 2 or 3 yellow wires each attached to different connectors plugged into the gauge cluster; just tap the red wire into one of these yellow wires and you should be good to go.
