which fan? I am assuming the one controlled by the thermo sensor... you could either wire it into a relay using the switch OR wire a switch to the sensor on your thermostat that turns it on or off... give us more info please- is your fan working? is it oem?

If its a stock setup, all you have to do is splice into the green wire at the fan thermoswitch on the t-stat housing, run the wire into the cabin to a simple switch and then to ground. No relay needed.

yes, is the fan control by the thermo sensor. they are aftermarket and slim. they are working fine. but my lude turbo and it always want to overheat when i m climbing uphill (even small hill). some one told me to try to manually to turn on the fans to see if that helps. my compression was good. no leaks, everything works. just got frustrated with that problem. now willing to try anything. thks much for reply!!

My cooling fan runs constant, I've had it that way for several years now. I have a 12" Hayden slim fan. No excess power draw, no problems, nothing. Lifetime warranty on the fan. My A/C fan is still wired to the switch however.

Make sure you get a proper switch. I had one in the car I bought and the wire melted at the switch while I was driving. I saw a puff of smoke and it stopped working. It could have started a fire.

I've never had a problem but then again I live in Florida, if anything I'm worried about the opposite.

i needed to install a relay when i used my CC button
the CC button sends out a 12v signal when pressed and the fan needed a ground
i hooked up the relay to ground the connection when the button was pressed

you can prolly get away without using the relay....but then your cool little green light on the CC button wont work when you press the button

GOOD CALL! Running ground signal wires is much safer then a bunch of "hots" all over the place.
